Ever wanted to “save” a  teacup? Something special that was a gift from a grandma or something that was expensive that you can’t throw out?

Maybe even a casserole dish or a tray that has memories. Jill wanted to make a gift of some teacups and so she got stuck in with my Dremel (Google it!). Cutting 1/3 off each teacup and saucer, like something out of a strange painting. She started in normal Jill style, went so fast (she’s a machine) and bits were flying.

With a close look you can see crackle mirror glass to represent the steam of a hot cup of tea and look at that delicate golden handle. She also couldn’t waste a thing so she used the parts she cut off the cups and plates as her background, and a piece of red glass with a pearlescent surface effect as her frame.

What a beautiful mosaic piece and looks perfect with the succulents. What an amazing gift and done with great excitement and passion.
